An industry leading multi-million-dollar ATV, motorcycle, watercraft, and snowmobile parts distributor is seeking a high-energy, hardworking, honest individual, preferably with experience in a wholesale distribution environment. The ideal candidate should have experience in an IBM iSeries environment, including RPG, CL, DDS, and DB2. Also desired are good communication and people skills, strong analytical skills, and a willingness and ability to do both programming and analysis.

Brand Sales Manager – Fire Power

Salary, Exempt position located Boise, ID

WPS is looking for a motivated, sales-driven powersports enthusiast to join our growing sales team as a Brand Sales Manager for the Fire Power brand. The Brand Sales Manager would collaborate and provide assistance to the company to help grow sales and market value. Project Administrator--Boise, Idaho

Location: Boise, Idaho

Non-exempt, hourly: $16 an hour (DOE)

We are seeking a highly organized and focused Project Administrator for our design department at FLY Racing. The Project Administrator will collaborate, communicate, and assist in design projects with internal teams and/or outside vendors. The Project Administrator provides administrative support as a direct report to the Senior Project Manager, to help ensure the project(s) information and details are tracked and communicated to all affiliated departments.

Well qualified individuals have at least two years of experience with project coordination/administration. You must possess strong multi-tasking and problem solving skills, with the ability to provide excellent communication to our team members and vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities, resources, equipment and information.
  • Assist in the scheduling of meetings to ensure planning and updates throughout the course of a project.
  • Schedule, track dates, budgets, pricing, critical/key info, and other information on spreadsheets.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports.
  • Creating forms and other documentation that can aid in tracking, communicating, and the consolidation of information.
  • Communication link between Design, Marketing, Purchasing, and Sales Departments, to ensure that the consistent and accurate flow of product information is communicated in an organized and timely manner.
  • Communication link with Purchasing to advise individual product status / life cycle.
  • Work directly with vendors and other team members to respond to requests and communicate project status. If issues arise, must be able to troubleshoot and clearly articulate proposed solutions to the supervisor.

  • Help to create QC documentation and procedure.
  • QA check and inspections on incoming production (new and re-orders).
  • Help manage QA review and issues with vendors.
  • Coordinate and assist in product sample shipment to vendors.
  • Testing and functionality verification of UPC / Barcodes.
  • Assist in testing products.

Competencies

  • Associates (AS) degree from two or four-year college or university is preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of two years of project coordination experience and/or training is preferred.

Product Designer--Boise, Idaho

Fly Racing is currently seeking a talented and motivated Product Designer to design and develop projects for FLY Moto, and MTB brand segments. This full-time position, located at our Boise, Idaho headquarters, will work within the Product Design team to design and development of FLY products and apparel. Well qualified individuals will have six plus years of experience in product design and product development of powersports apparel and equipment, or within similar industry. Senior level candidates will possess an excellent design portfolio, strong industry knowledge, and the ability to help inspire the creative process. Excellent communication skills are essential as the position demands effective coordination between design teams, domestic and foreign vendors, and internal departments within Fly Racing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Able to work through all phases of the product development process – concepts through production.
  • Create original designs relevant to products associated with MX and MTB segments
  • Ability to design and create using a variety of methods such as sketching, physical prototyping, Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop, etc.
  • Provide high-quality product designs and product directions.
  • Create dynamic trend directions with colors, materials, features, and graphics.
  • Create detailed tech packs for vendors that provides all required information for production.

IT Support Desk Technician, 1--Boise, Idaho

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries or issues and respond either in person, email or over the phone

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responds quickly to dealer needs and requests, involving resources as necessary, to deliver solutions and produce sales
  • Develops and maintains an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and responds accordingly
  • Introduces and demonstrates new products, using sales samples, WPS catalogs and web resources to emphasize features and benefits
  • Effectively communicates the value of a WPS business partnership, including available brands, products, eCommerce options and exceptional dealer support staff
  • Assists dealerships in sales-floor layout and point of purchase displays to encourage growth of WPS brands and products
  • Designs and implements territory management and account growth strategies
  • Creates partnerships to foster cooperation with sales and support team, dealer employees and vendor representatives
  • Provides outstanding customer service by identifying and actively addressing dealership needs and requests
  • Presents sales samples, specials and related support material to provide comprehensive product presentations

PHP Web Developer

Are you a relentless problem solver who is not afraid to search for a needle in a stack of hay? An ardent learner who's always looking to improve? Do you play nice with both humans and machines? If so, WPS needs you.

Seeking a full-time, PHP web developer with a technical background and a passion for writing high-quality, extensible code. We are looking for mid-level to senior-level candidates with experience in building web applications with PHP and who aren’t afraid to learn something new along the way.

Most of our projects reside on a fleet of cloud-based, load-balanced, autoscaling Linux server instances on AWS. We are currently doing work in Drupal and Laravel, so be prepared to dive into those if you haven’t already. The primary languages that we develop in are PHP, HTML5, and JavaScript but we do not necessarily limit ourselves to that area.

Location

On-site at WPS headquarters at 601 E. Gowen Road in Boise, Idaho. No remote/telecommute.

Competencies

  • Self-starting learner with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of PHP, application architecture and object-oriented design.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction while maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux environments and open source tools/platforms.
  • A solid foundation of semantic HTML and CSS and at the very least minimal experience working with JavaScript and related libraries.
  • Knowledge of cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility.
  • Experience building applications that use REST based web services and JSON data structures.
  • Experience with version control systems (particularly Git)
  • Comfortable learning and embracing new languages quickly; ability to help us assess where new technologies, languages, and platforms may be things we should consider.

Bonus points (Not required)

  • CMS experience, PHP framework experience, Laravel 5, Drupal 7, Magento CE, Zend Framework.
  • Server (EC2) administration on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • MySQL, DB2, schema design, normalization, and/or other database knowledge.
  • Mobile Development (Web-based HTML5 mobile responsive design)
