Social Media & Digital Assets Specialist

Type: Fulltime with occasional weekend events
Location: Boise, Idaho          
Pay: DOE (Hourly, Non-Exempt)

Plans, directs, and coordinates social media relations of in-house brands and products and builds digital assets for online brand advertising campaigns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day execution of all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Google +, LinkedIn, Instagram and other relevant platforms for multiple powersports brands
  • Designs and builds digital banner assets for online advertising campaigns by working closely with lead designer and content marketing manager to ensure consistent brand message
  • Works closely with lead graphic designer and content marketing manager to establish social media marketing and digital asset creation goals
  • Develops and creates content strategy and content calendar; aligning both with the larger marketing strategy and objectives
  • Composes, reviews and edits copy for social media platforms
  • Works with colleagues throughout the company to generate social media and web content ideas
  • Plans and oversees the organization's promotion activities specifically linked to its social media presence, such as contests, product releases and other promotional events
  • Studies and monitors relevant media sources, such as social media, websites/​blogs, forums, consumer and trade publications to recommend strategies that will influence opinion or promote products
  • Prepares social media marketing activity reports
  • Assists with website’s content management when needed

Competencies

DESIRED SKILLS, ABILITES & EXPERIENCE

  • Comprehensive understanding of the digital asset design process, with fluency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Expert knowledge in the business application of social media platforms including: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, Instagram and more. Knowledge of HootSuite or other social media management tools a plus
  • Experience working with Web technology platforms and content management systems
  • Familiarity with basic HTML a plus, but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience acting as the online voice of a brand
  • Ability to understand the implications of new information quickly, and exercise strong judgment to choose the appropriate course of action
  • Knowledge of SEO/​SEM, including keyword search and its impact on social media/​website content.
  • Flexible schedule. Must be willing to work non-traditional hours, as social media never sleeps
  • BA/BS in Journalism, New Media, Communications, Marketing or related field is desired. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted

Warehouse Operations Manager (Indiana)

Location: Ashley, Indiana
Annual Salary: DOE

WPS is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead its regional distribution center in in Ashley, Indiana. The Warehouse Operations Manager plans, directs, and administers all aspects of distribution center activities, including requisitioning, receiving, storing, stocking, and shipping parts and materials. This position oversees the enforcement of all warehouse procedures and practices, and will report to the Director of National Warehouse Operations. We are looking for candidates with highly developed leadership and management skills, resolute ethics of personal conduct and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of employees and personalities, including those with high levels of authority and scope. Well-qualified individuals will have five plus years of experience in a distribution center leadership role, preferably general management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing company operational and personnel policies and procedures
  • Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
  • Develops and analyzes production and operating reports and resolves operational, staffing and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and to prevent operational delays

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Min 5 years managing a team in a manufacturing or distribution setting, required
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with facility planning, analysis and layout of distribution and manufacturing operations
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of supply chain logistics processes, including demand planning, distribution requirements planning, inventory management and control, transportation and logistics planning, and warehousing
  • Knowledge of current industry best practices in supply chain management to support process improvement
  • Ability to motivate, influence and encourage a diverse group of Operations Associates who have with varied skill levels and backgrounds.

Outside Sales Rep - Amarillo/Midland, Texas

Status: Exempt, Commission only
Territory: Amarillo/Midland, Texas and surrounding area

WPS is seeking an experienced Outside Sales & Marketing Representative to establish and develop a new territory within West Central Texas. The Amarillo/Midland Sales & Marketing Rep identifies and secures new business within territory to effectively sell power sports products to dealerships while promoting WPS house-brands and company objectives. Candidates should possess the ability to effectively and persuasively communicate with a wide variety of personalities working in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment. Highly qualified individuals will have 3 to 5 years of outside sales or industry/dealer-related experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responds quickly to dealer needs and requests, involving resources as necessary, to deliver solutions and produce sales

FLY Racing Product Developer

Location: Boise, Idaho

Fly Racing is currently seeking a talented and motivated Product Developer to manage and develop projects for FLY Racing segments. This full time position will work within the Product Design team to guide the development and project management of FLY products and apparel. The ideal candidate has experience in project management and product development with extensive knowledge in the manufacturing and production processes. Excellent communication skills are essential, the position demands effective coordination between Design teams, domestic and foreign vendors, and variety of internal departments within Fly Racing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Organize, communicate, and manage project information/requirements. Coordinate and collaborate with sales, purchasing, and marketing
  • Internal communication with the Art Director and Design Staff on the status of projects to ensure that the projects are on schedule, on budget, and overall design intent and product functions are being maintained
  • Create and manage project timeline/schedule with vendor. Ensure key milestones and delivery dates are achieved
  • Daily communication and coordination with factories to ensure that the product development goals are being met for each project
  • Ability to effectively problem solve a variety of issues, while maintaining a solution based approach
  • Create product reviews for development, pre-production, and TOP sample
  • Overseas travel to vendor factories for items that are being developed

Competencies

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience within the product development field.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, with a high proficiency in Excel, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Understanding of project management strategies and practices applied to product development.
  • Understanding of manufacturing practice and methods in the garment industry, including: sewing, materials, construction layout, and pattern making
