Job Title: Kabuto Helmet Sales/Brand Manager

Summary

Plans, develops, and implements sales brand strategies along with marketing programs for motorcycle helmets by performing the following duties.

Education and/or Experience                                                        

 

Four-year college or university degree is preferred; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Computer and Mathematical Skills                                                             

 

Must have a broad knowledge base of Excel, Word and PowerPoint software. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

 

Other Skills and Abilities                                                                

 

Must be an avid motorcyclist and hold a valid driver's license that includes a motorcycle endorsement. Needs current knowledge of trends in marketplace and on-road motorcycle industry, as well as a strong understanding of individual dealer needs. Working knowledge of current motorcycle helmets is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Must be able to travel internationally up to two times annually, and travel domestically up to two weeks per month
  • Travels with reps and sales managers to sell product and do product sales training along with product presentations
  • Works directly with factory on branding direction and develops and executes brand marketing programs
  • Reviews market research to anticipate competition and market trends and translate consumer attitudes into new product directions
  • Consults with development teams on market requirements and product features
  • Communicates brand strategies to sales, purchasing and other departments
  • Develops rider support programs and sponsorships, sales programs, and advertising campaigns
  • Works directly with media outlets to promote product line
  • Coordinates with purchasing department to order and schedule product
  • Works with other departments to help develop advertising and promotional programs, pricing, positioning, and packaging
  • Assists in planning and coordination of product launch
  • Guides creation and aides in development of product portfolio and catalog
  • Evaluates and analyzes sales program results and presents recommendations for changes in brand strategy
  • Coordinates with sales department to develop sales programs and specials based on inventory levels and retail demand

Experience
Experience in the Power Sports industry required. Minimum two years related experience a must. Must have experience with the Internet and Outlook Mail and have basic computer knowledge. Current driver’s license required.
