HardDrive/V-Twin Outside Sales Rep.--NE Ohio

Status: Statutory Employee, Commission Only

Territory: NE Ohio

WPS is seeking an industry-experienced Outside Sales Representative to join its V-Twin Sales Division to help grow and develop a territory.

This Outside Sales Rep sells V-twin motorcycle hard parts and apparel to territory dealerships while promoting the HardDrive brand and company objectives. Candidates should possess the ability to effectively and persuasively communicate with a wide variety of personalities, while performing in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment. Highly qualified individuals will have 2+ years of experience in the V-Twin / Harley Davidson industry, coupled with 3+ years of demonstrated sales performance.

Display and Merchandising Coordinator – Boise, ID

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generate ideas that create fresh and useful ways to display and market products – including POP signage and displays, physical displays, promotional event tools, etc.
  • With the development of a new brand, research brands’ message, target, and purpose in order to create an effective packaging design concept to coordinate with the brand.
  • Communicate with domestic and international suppliers in order to find the most cost effective, functional and efficient merchandising solutions for each of our brands’ needs.

Product Designer – Boise, Idaho

Location: Boise, Idaho

Salary-DOE, Full-Time

Fly Racing is currently seeking a talented and motivated Product Designer to design and develop projects for FLY Moto, and MTB brand segments. This full-time position, located at our Boise, Idaho headquarters, will work within the Product Design team to design and development of FLY products and apparel. Well qualified individuals will have six plus years of experience in product design and product development of powersports apparel and equipment, or within similar industry. Senior level candidates will possess an excellent design portfolio, strong industry knowledge, and the ability to help inspire the creative process. Excellent communication skills are essential as the position demands effective coordination between design teams, domestic and foreign vendors, and internal departments within Fly Racing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Able to work through all phases of the product development process – concepts through production.
  • Create original designs relevant to products associated with MX and MTB segments
  • Ability to design and create using a variety of methods such as sketching, physical prototyping, Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop, etc.
  • Provide high-quality product designs and product directions.
  • Create dynamic trend directions with colors, materials, features, and graphics.
  • Create detailed tech packs for vendors that provides all required information for production.
  • Create and manage project timeline/schedule with vendor. Ensure key milestones and delivery dates are achieved.
  • Daily communication and coordination with internal development staff, and factories to ensure that the product development goals are being met for each project.
  • Create product reviews for development, pre-production, and TOP samples.
  • Overseas travel to vendor factories as needed.

Competencies

  • Bachelor's Degree in design field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience within the product design/development field.
  • Exceptional design skill and the ability to communicate form through 2-D and/or 3D means.
  • A comprehensive understanding of design, development, and production processes.
  • A willingness to embrace art direction, and encourage positive collaboration with fellow designers and staff
  • High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop. Experience in Microsoft Office and 3D modeling software a plus.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing practice and methods in the garment industry, including: sewing, materials, construction layout, and pattern making.

PHP Web Developer

Are you a relentless problem solver who is not afraid to search for a needle in a stack of hay? An ardent learner who's always looking to improve? Do you play nice with both humans and machines? If so, WPS needs you.

Seeking a full-time, PHP web developer with a technical background and a passion for writing high-quality, extensible code. We are looking for mid-level to senior-level candidates with experience in building web applications with PHP and who aren’t afraid to learn something new along the way.

Most of our projects reside on a fleet of cloud-based, load-balanced, autoscaling Linux server instances on AWS. We are currently doing work in Drupal and Laravel, so be prepared to dive into those if you haven’t already. The primary languages that we develop in are PHP, HTML5, and JavaScript but we do not necessarily limit ourselves to that area.

Location

On-site at WPS headquarters at 601 E. Gowen Road in Boise, Idaho. No remote/telecommute.
