OVERVIEW
Western Power Sports is currently seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to join its fast-paced and expanding IT community. WPS is looking for a mid-to-senior level candidate with the desire to grow professionally. 

A well-qualified individual will have hands-on experience building, testing, deploying and maintaining high-quality, scalable web applications. Projects reside on a fleet of cloud-based load-balanced autoscaling Linux server instances on AWS. Current work is taking place in Drupal and Laravel, so be prepared to dive into those if you haven’t already. The primary languages are PHP and JavaScript but WPS is not necessarily limited to those areas.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Assist in leading the powersports industry with ideas and software solutions.
•    Help replace older technology on the B2B site where dealers place orders.
•    Help innovate and iterate the B2B site to improve usability and dealer experience.
•    Maintain, improve, and expand the Dealer API. See Data Depot for documentation.
•    Make changes and upgrades to marketing websites as needed.
•    Participate in code reviews to maintain quality.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
●    Self-starting learner with excellent communication and organizational skills.
●    Medial understanding of PHP, application architecture and object-oriented design.
●    Ability to work with minimal direction while maintaining a high level of productivity.
●    Basic knowledge of Linux environments and open source tools/platforms.
●    A solid foundation of semantic HTML and CSS and at the very least minimal experience working with JavaScript and related libraries.
●    Knowledge of cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility.

OVERVIEW
WPS is seeking a motivated, sales-driven powersports enthusiast to join our growing sales team as a Brand Sales Manager for the Scorpion brand.  The Scorpion Brand Sales Manager will be responsible for sales growth and capturing market share. This position is also responsible for developing and managing brand strategies, collaborating on and directing marketing programs with the Marketing team, product development collaboration with the Design team, implementation of stated business goals as mandated by Upper Management and ongoing evaluation of brand success.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Must be able to travel internationally two times annually and domestically up to two weeks per month.  
•    Travel with sales representatives and managers to conduct product and sales trainings and presentations.
•    Develop a working relationship with outside sales representatives and their dealers to promote increased market share.
•    Plan, develop and execute brand direction and marking programs in conjunction with segment management.
•    Helps establish and maintain consistent corporate image throughout product lines, promotional materials, and events.
•    Analyzes market research to identify opportunities for increased sales and future product development.

SUMMARY
WPS seeks to hire a Warehouse Maintenance Associate at its 180,000sq. ft. warehouse located in Fresno, CA. A General Maintenance Associate performs a variety of both routine preventative maintenance tasks as well as repair tasks in and around our warehouse building. This position is essential to ensuring the safety of our employees and good condition of our warehouse by timely and proper care of the warehouse and equipment. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
•    Performs routine, repetitive daily inspection and maintenance necessary to building exterior/interior

Highly qualified individuals will have 3 years of Bicycle Inside Sales experience coupled with 1 or more years of bicycle dealer and industry-related experience.

SUMMARY

This position performs a wide variety of regular janitorial maintenance and housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment for all team members in and around the warehouse and staff areas. This position is essential to ensuring the safety of our employees and good condition of our warehouse by timely and proper cleaning care of the warehouse, equipment and all facilities. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
•    Working a call center type environment, you will provide excellent customer service to our dealers as the first point of customer contact for pricing, product information, shipments, and order details

•    Communicate and coordinate with other departments to resolve challenges and dealer inquiries

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

•    Review current benefit utilization and report findings to management. 
•    Become actively involved in high-claim reviews, collections reports, or cost-plus program claims to provide plan members service in understanding the claims process. 
•    Prepare materials and present benefit plan changes to employees and review current information to determine improvements necessary for better change communications.
•    Issues annual individual summary of benefits to employees.
•    Maintains separate and compliant employee benefit files and issues HIPAA regulations and administration. 
•    Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
•    Audit monthly invoices against payroll deductions and online enrollment statuses to check for discrepancies.

OVERVIEW

WPS is seeking an experienced (mid-level, but not required) Purchasing Agent to join our Purchasing team. This role is responsible for coordinating the procurement of vendor and in-house products and parts by negotiating terms, pricing and delivery. The ability to identify and work within budgetary and scheduling requirements is critical to success.

The desired candidate will have two to three years of experience purchasing motorsports parts and accessories for wholesale distribution, along with highly developed Excel skills. JOB DUTIES:

  • Reviews requisitions.
  • Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery.
  • Estimates values according to knowledge of market price.
  • Determines method of procurement such as direct purchase or bid.
  • Prepares purchase orders, bid requests and change notices.
  • Reviews bid proposals and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.
  • Analyzes market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability, and prepares market analysis reports.
  • Develops a system to evaluate vendor quotations that utilizes appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service.
  • Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
  • Prepares and reviews contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for legal correctness, price, and acceptability of items to specifications.
  • Oversees all activities related to procurement of a commodity, from intent to purchase through delivery of commodity.
  • Negotiates or supervises the negotiation of complex requests for equipment, supplies, and services from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories.
  • Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
  • Approves invoices for payment.
  • Expedites delivery of goods to users.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume purchasing role (powersports industry knowledge or experience a plus).
  • Experience with Supply Chain Management, Vendor Relationships, Organization, Customer Service, Documentation Skills, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Manufacturing Quality Control, Cost Accounting, Control Engineering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the MS Office 2010 Suite with highly developed Microsoft Excel skills.

Product Designer

OVERVIEW

Fly Racing is seeking a talented, creative and motivated Product Designer to design and develop products for FLY Racing, FLY Snow, and HWY 21 brand segments. This fulltime position will work within the Product Design team to design and develop FLY and HWY 21 products and apparel from concept through to final production.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in product design, product development and project management with strong knowledge of manufacturing and production processes. Excellent communication skills are essential as this position demands effective coordination between design teams, domestic and foreign vendors, and internal departments within the company. A strong working knowledge of AutoCad, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a must!

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Able to work through all phases of the product development process – concepts through production.
  • Provide high-quality product designs and product directions.
  • Create dynamic trend directions with colors, materials, features, and graphics.
  • Organize, communicate, and manage project development with vendors.
  • Create detailed tech packs for vendors that provides all required information for production.
  • Create and manage project timeline/schedule with vendor. Ensure key milestones and delivery dates are achieved.
  • Daily communication and coordination with factories to ensure that the product development goals are being met for each project.
  • Ability to effectively problem solve a variety of issues, while maintaining a solution based approach.
  • Create product reviews for development, pre-production, and TOP samples.
  • Overseas travel to vendor factories for items that are being developed.

WHAT WE ARE LOOING FOR

  • Bachelor's Degree in product or apparel design field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in product design and development.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, with a high level of proficiency in Excel, Adobe Illustrator, AutoCad and Photoshop.
  • Demonstrated understanding of project management strategies and practices applied to product development.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing practices and methods in the garment industry, including sewing, materials, construction layout, and pattern making.
  • Ability to effectively solve problems on a variety of issues with a solution-based approach.
  • Highly organized, self-driven, with a keen ability to know when and how to take the lead.
  • A keen Interest in outdoor powersports (Motorcycles, Snowmobiles, ATV/UTV, BMX, Mountain Bike, and Watercraft) is a plus.
  • Good sense of current trends in sports products, sportswear and active lifestyle fashions.

WPS/FLY Racing is seeking motivated, independent sales representatives, that have an established independent business. This is a 100% commission only position.  WPS distributes their own house brand, FLY Racing, as well as multiple other brands such as Raceface, TIME, Maxxis, Niterider, E13, Pedros, SDG, Schwalbe, HOPE, Maxima, KMC, ODI, Kryptonite and many more. Products are shipped from WPS' six regional distribution centers across the United States.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responds quickly to dealer needs and requests, involving resources as necessary, to deliver solutions and produce sales
  • Develops and maintains an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and responds accordingly
  • Introduces and demonstrates new products, using sales samples, WPS catalogs and web resources to emphasize features and benefits
  • Effectively communicates the value of a WPS business partnership, including available brands, products, eCommerce options and exceptional dealer support staff
  • Assists dealerships in sales-floor layout and point of purchase displays to encourage growth of WPS brands and products
  • Designs and implements territory management and account growth strategies
  • Creates partnerships to foster cooperation with sales and support team, dealer employees and vendor representatives
  • Provides outstanding customer service by identifying and actively addressing dealership needs and requests
  • Presents sales samples, specials and related support material to provide comprehensive product presentations
