OVERVIEW

WPS is seeking an inspired, customer service focused Motorcycle/ATV/UTV Support Specialist to join our tire and wheel team, focused on Sedona Tire & Wheel, Shinko Motorcycle Tires and Raceline Wheels. The Support Specialist is responsible for fielding inbound calls, responding to emails and serving as the first point of contact for customers, dealers, sales reps and sponsored athletes.

The ideal candidate must be able to thoroughly identify and answer customer and sales rep questions regarding tires and wheels, including vehicle fitment. You must be able to navigate multiple software programs or demonstrate the ability to learn new computer programs quickly. This position must have sufficient product technical ability to provide organizational support to the Sales, Customer Support, Product Tech and Catalog teams. A tire and wheel Support Specialist also serves as the main point of contact for the Company’s Sales/Brand Managers and ensures efficient operations by providing stellar support to our team.

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the intake of technical calls and emails/support
  • Maintain highest levels of excellent customer support when dealing with product issues or complaints
  • Track and maintain accuracy of product numbers in product catalogs
  • Update and confirm vehicle/product fitment charts with product tech team members
  • Working with MS Excel and other Microsoft programs
  • Work closely with the Warranties Manager in understanding the current warranty policy and procedures for WPS
  • Accurately compile WPS tire warranty documentation from dealers and Customer Service; submit information for proper tracking– including submissions, reimbursements and post warranty credits to an internal or external business system
  • Review dealer warranty history to monitor appropriate claims and communicate with the customer, dealers and sales reps regarding progress and completion
  • Provide quarterly warranty reports to Management and suppliers as required
  • Proactively establish and maintain positive, productive relationships with sales representatives, dealers and WPS teams
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments to resolve product or service challenges and address varied dealer inquiries
  • Work with many other department teams in a variety of administrative and project tasks as required

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED -  REQUIRED

OVERVIEW

WPS is seeking an experienced Director level partner to assume responsibility of all internal and external IT operations for the company. This position is based in Boise, ID and reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

The Director of IT infrastructure is responsible for managing IT technologies and a group of technical IT infrastructure personnel; developing and establishing IT infrastructure standards and procedures; assigning work to the operations staff and the analysis/design/ deployment/operations of IT software and hardware systems supporting the business on a national level.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES

Operations Management

  • Oversee all aspects of the IT department operations including IT infrastructure, Communication (LAN, WAN, email, VOIP, etc.), backup, security systems, disaster recovery (DR), regulatory compliance.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT group including ticketing system, assignment of work for operations staff and providing high level reporting.
  • Prepare overall status and activity metrics that documents and tracks delivery of IT services, planned and unplanned system outages, and other key IT performance metrics.
  • Maintains overall security of the company’s network, systems, and data.
  • Ensures high availability of critical business systems.
  • Manage staff members in their daily activities as well as supporting business projects.
  • Develop and manage relationships with vendors in support of staff augmentation and systems support.

  • Maintain overall backup and recovery strategy (Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity).
  • Implement and maintain processes and procedures for effective delivery of services and compliance with regulatory guidance.
  • Establish and implement 'best-practice' standards as well as departmental policies and procedures.
  • Recommend and implement hardware for business applications, server hardware, network equipment, etc.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • A business minded individual with a BSc Degree (or higher) in Information Techlogy or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 10 years of IT experience with 5 years of progressive management experience preferred.
  • Experience in directing IT infrastructures for a warehousing and distribution environment a plus.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Windows Servers, Active Directory, MS SQL and core Network/Cisco technologies like LAN/WAN, subnets, firewalls, VLAN's, and VPN, CCTV.
  • Experience managing environments in AWS and AS400 preferred.
  • Proven management skills with the ability to mentor, manage and direct staff members.
  • Proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT infrastructure groups in complex and dynamic environments.
  • Must have good people skills and the ability to interact and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Must be a champion in support of IT standards, procedures, policies, and best practices for the infrastructure team.

Western Power Sports is currently seeking a Web Development Manager / Sr. Full Stack Web Developer to join its fast-paced and expanding IT community and lead the web development team.

A well-qualified individual will have hands-on experience leading IT staff in building, testing, deploying and maintaining high-quality, innovative, scalable web applications. Projects reside on a fleet of cloud-based load-balanced autoscaling Linux server instances on AWS. Current work is taking place in Drupal and Laravel, so be prepared to dive into those if you haven’t already. The primary languages are PHP and JavaScript but WPS is not necessarily limited to those areas.

WPS is seeking experienced VTwin/HardDrive Statutory Sales Representatives in the San Antonio / Austin, TX area our VTwin/HardDrive product lines. HardDrive Statutory Sales Representatives sell powersports parts, accessories and apparel to territory dealerships while promoting HardDrive house-brands to meet company business and sales objectives.

 

The ideal candidates should have at least 3 years of “road warrior” experience and possess the ability to effectively and persuasively communicate with a wide variety of personalities in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment. The candidates we are looking for will have three plus years of experience in the powersports industry as an outside sales representative and/or dealership experience.  Candidates will actively work with motorcycle dealers in the assigned territories.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

 

  • Responds quickly to dealer needs and requests, involving resources as necessary, to deliver solutions and produce sales
  • Develops and maintains an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and responds accordingly
  • Introduces or demonstrates new products, using sales samples or order catalog, to emphasize features benefits
  • Effectively communicates the value of a WPS business partnership, including available brands, products, eCommerce options and exceptional dealer support staff
  • Assists dealerships in sales-floor layout and point of purchase displays to encourage growth of WPS brands and products
  • Designs and implements territory management and account growth strategies
  • Creates partnerships to foster cooperation with inside sales and support team, dealer employees and vendor representatives
  • Provides outstanding customer service by identifying and actively addressing dealership needs and requests
  • Presents sales samples, specials and related support material to provide comprehensive product presentations  
  • Regularly meets with Regional Sales Manager to review sales activities, progress on goals and status of prospective accounts

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES

  • Working in a call center type environment, you will provide excellent customer service to our dealers as the first point of customer contact for pricing, product information, shipments and order details

Our Warehouse Associates play an integral role in operations by ensuring product is received, stored, stocked, picked, packed and shipped effectively and efficiently to our valued customers.

Projects reside on a fleet of cloud-based load-balanced autoscaling Linux server instances on AWS.
